We are excited to present the newly designed Heavy Duty Bio grapples, the SG260RR and SG520RR!
These grapples represent the next step in Hultdins’ evolution, bringing our unique Heavy Duty bio grapples into the updated design. Based on the respective size’s Heavy Duty S-line timber grapple, the 260RR and 520RR combine maximum load capacity with durability, offering unmatched performance in the bio grapple segment. The redesign incorporates stronger materials, optimized geometry, and enhanced durability — all developed in close cooperation with our end users.
The new RR grapples feature the following improvements:
Stronger – Forged bearing housings in the grapple arms provide increased strength and stiffness. The SG260RR also includes larger bearings for additional support.
Optimized geometry – Enhanced performance, improved grip characteristics, and smoother material flow.
R-model reinforcement – The Bio Grapples include additional strengthening beyond the standard model, for demanding applications.
Availability is planned for Q2/Q3 2026 – SG520RR.
