SuperGrip II-S

The SuperGrip II-S is the strongest grapple in the SuperGrip II series. Use it for heavier forwarding or mount it on an excavator for lighter work.

With the SuperGrip II-S, we feel that we’ve achieved a good balance between strength and weight. It’s lighter than the SuperGrip -S, yet still stronger than a standard grapple.

NEW DESIGN, SAME EXPERIENCE

The difference in weight between the standard model and the S-model in the SuperGrip series is pretty big. So we’ve made the S-model of the SuperGrip II slightly lighter. It’s thoroughly reinforced, but not quite as heavy. Our aim with the SuperGrip II-S is, as usual, to make you as productive as possible when working on heavier jobs.

WEIGHT JUST WHERE IT’S NEEDED

The frame of the SuperGrip II-S is extra reinforced where it’s needed the most: around the rotator mount. To achieve the best weight-to-strength ratio, Hardox plates with side supports are welded to the S-model’s frame. We’ve also used generous diameters for the pins and bushings to ensure optimal force distribution where the reinforced arms connect with the frame. Naturally, expander pins with an internal taper are used, and even the S-model of the SuperGrip II is equipped with steel bushings.
